God sent you

You came like an angel

Genesis 45:5″Now do not be grieved or angry with yourselves, because you sold me here, for God sent me before you to preserve life.”

Mother of four little children stood by the gate last year during the time of admission and requested me, ‘can you take my children in your school?’ There were many people around me with fake salutes, cunning, flattery language, phony respect and sly smile but she was devoid of such craftiness, but instead was very nervous when she approached me. Her fourth boy was below four years old, so I took all the three of her kids who were in the age group of 7,6 and 5; all I knew about them was their father left them; however, I had a very tough time of grooming them for nearly a year, in fact, on one particular day, I met the mother at the gate and said, ‘I just cannot manage them, they are very unruly’, with tears she begged me to discipline them. God strengthened me, within 6 months, the children transformed after hearing the Word of God in the assembly and their academic performance also improved and they are not average but scored top marks. Glory to Jesus! Her grandmother one day met me and said, ‘God sent you like an angel into our life, if not the lives of my grandchildren would have been ruined.’ Here is their pic:

I shivered as I heard those words because when ‘God sent me’, MARK the words, ‘God sent me’, to Hyderabad, the journey was not pleasant or convenient, in fact, we ran short of money for the transport and we had to sell certain items to make up for it, while the goods were sent in the lorry, I travelled in the train on the same day with my maid and son alone, because my husband and daughter had to stay back and finish some work. Since there was a marriage party travelling in our compartment, we did not get a wink of sleep, not a pleasant journey at all. When we reached Hyderabad, we had no garlands or friends to receive us, we were escorted by a believer who did not even help us with our luggage (our training started there in the railway platform itself) All these struggles are frivolous compared to the way God is using us now to build the lives of little children in Hyderabad through our ABIDE SCHOOL (Click to view).

Coming to the scripture, Joseph looked at his brother after 22 years and said, ‘God sent me to preserve life’, did you hear that? He was emotionally broken, hurt, betrayed, abandoned, no words to cohesively put his emotions together; nevertheless, he states, ‘my pain had a purpose!’ Stop running away from struggles, but gain strength from your struggles and live for a greater purpose than just burgers.
